Ramsons has successfully completed Signature Bank’s newest location in downtown Jonesboro. A grand opening took place on October 24, marking a significant addition to the city’s growing business district. The project, which began a year ago, finished both ahead of schedule and within budget—a testament to Ramsons commitment to precision and quality.
With existing locations in Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers, Bentonville, Brinkley, and Harrison – Signature Bank opened their first Jonesboro branch in February of 2022.
“We recognized Jonesboro as a growing market in Arkansas in need of a bank dedicated to real community banking and leadership in the small business arena,” said Signature Bank COO Brant Ward. “Our growth model is centered around empowering local market leadership to make the day-to-day decisions that impact on their community. Local decision making doesn’t mean calling into a corporate headquarters for approval on every question that arises. Our Jonesboro bankers know the unique needs of Northeast Arkansas business owners, and we’re eager as an organization to support them as they meet local needs,” said Ward.
Market President Ryan Moore led the expansion of Signature Bank into NEA. Prior to joining Signature, Moore had spent 15 years in the banking industry with previous executive leadership experience in Jonesboro. “Jonesboro is a perfectly sized community for Signature’s blended model of ‘old-school’ personal banking and modern technology,” said Moore.
Signature Bank focuses on providing full-scale financial services to small businesses, families and farms. Their investment in the new location downtown reflects their commitment to fostering growth and building connections within the local community.
Ramsons inherited the project with the site pre-developed by the owner. This slab-on-grade structure incorporates a blend of steel and wood framing, with a TPO roof and sheet rock walls. The interior consists of a variety of ceramic and quarry tiles, and luxury vinyl flooring. This state-of-the-art building was designed by architect Dave Burris from Northwest Arkansas. “The interior work is outstanding. The wood ceilings, ceramics, marble, solid surface tops – it’s everything you’d expect in a high-end bank” said Ramsons Co-Founder and President, Danny McDaniel.
McDaniel, along with project manager Darryl Rose and superintendent Brad Smith, played a pivotal role in the bank’s year-long development. “There were no discrepancies with the drawings, which helped on the construction side of things,” said Rose. McDaniel agreed “it was an extremely well-designed, flowable building.”
The construction finished ahead of schedule and within budget. “The price we gave at the beginning was nearly spot on, with very little value engineering needed,” said McDaniel – yet another example of Ramsons promise for quality, fair pricing, and timely completion! Lastly, “it is of upmost importance that the contract, owner, and architect work together”, said McDaniel, adding that “without total cooperation from all 3, you will never get the results you want”.
Signature Bank is located at 502 E Washinton Avenue in downtown Jonesboro.
